Legal Question in Family Law in California

Divorce Document -

I'm unable to find the one document I need to obtain the monies the court awarded me by my ex-spouse. The document stated that after my ex left his employer his retirement was awarded to me would be surrendered. The doucment also secured the retirment from being surrendered to anyone else by me. Needless to say he has left his previous employer and I can't find the one form I need to get what is owed to me. Can you please tell me the name or possible names of this document so I can request a copy for the applicable courts. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks so much!

Re: Divorce Document -

Go to the court and look at court file. It should be the judgment or decision after hearing, etc.

You can go to the courthouse, pull the file and look through it. You may be looking for a Judgment, Order After Hearing, and or Qualified Domestic Relations Order.

Good luck to you!
