Legal Question in Family Law in California

How to get a divorce or can i file abandoment?

I'v been married since 2003. My husband was not a citizen. He was very sneaky throughout the whole marraige. Like as if he used me for his papers. I have no idea what his status is. In the ending of 2007 he left. I got evicted from our apartment. I've gotten 1 email from him. He said he was in jordan and never returning. I can not contact him beacuse i have no information on where he really is. How can i get a divorce? Can i file abandoment?
