Legal Question in Family Law in California

Getting a divorce

I filed for divorce March,2001. I have been unable to located my husband. I have tried to send certified mail to him with my petition for divorce, they all come back. He lives in the state of Utah, he is not paying child support either. They can't seem to locate him either. I want to know how can I file for my divorce, without his consent, futhermore the divorce be granted. He obviously doesn't want to be found. I can't afford an attorney. Can you suggest something, or tell me what do to. I need my divorce, but this isn't getting any easier. Please help me, its been too long. Thank you Anabel Ramos
