Legal Question in Family Law in California
Divorce almost final, now want spousal support.
All the paperwork has been signed and my divorce will be final 9/14/07. I now am considering trying to obtain spousal support, is it too late? I was not represented by an attorney and I did sign a contract stating the division of our assets.

It could be too late. I would suggest that you get all court papers and take them to an attorney for an evaluation of your situation. Time is of the essence, so do this immediately. Good Luck, Pat McCrary
