Legal Question in Family Law in California

Divorce finalized in Mo.

Why am I having so much trouble getting this problem resolved. I have been to the family law facilitators, legal aid etc. No one will help me, only give me the run around.

My ex. left me and established residency in Mo. we had lived in Ca. for the past 12 yrs, his job was still here in san diego, even after he ''moved'' to Mo. He was able to create such financial and legal difficulties for me, that I was not able to contest the divorce, nor have the assets divided fairly. He walked away scott free, no child support, no alimony, no division of assets, nothing... The only thing in my ''favor'' was that the judge did not take subject matter jurisdiction over the kids and I. (I don't know how this benefits me.) The divorce was finalized in July 06' in Mo. I am helpless to have anything done because I cannot afford a lawyer, which my ex should also be responsible for paying, especially due to the unethical way he did things. I have spoken to every free/sliding pay scale, referral service in Calif. and without a retainer, and because of the ''complexity'' no one will help me. Please, I have to know what I can do, bills are stacking up and no resources to pay them. (My ex makes close to 95,000 yr.)
