Legal Question in Family Law in California

Divorce forms needed

I am helping a friend of mine fill out her divorce papers, she hired a mediator, i asked her if she had come up with a schedule for custody and visitation, and a plan for the house and assests. She said the mediator didn't need that info. That confusses me. I want to know what forms are necessary to file for divorce in California? I looked on the court form website, but it lists all the forms I may need. I want to know only what I have to have. She has a house(with not much equity), he has a retirement fund, they have 3 kids,(she is filing for primary physical custody, with visitation for him weekends and Wed. dinner.)She is a stay at home mom that is state licensed to care for metally disabled children. Currently she has 3 diabled kids living with her, and her own 3. Her income is the money the state gives her to care for the kids. She is asking for guidline support for her kids, and no spousal support. She wants 1/2 of his retirement, her 1/2 of the house, and some household furnishings. I need to make sure she has all the pepers necessary before she goes and files. Can you tell what forms she needs for thses matters? Thank you. Karen Pray
