Legal Question in Family Law in California
My divorce was granted in 1985 the final paper work was never filed and the final decree was never issued. We have not been together in all that time. How do I get it finalized so that I can remarry? We live in California.

Call the court to see the status of the case. If it was "granted" you are divorced, and it may be to late to file anything.Call a few attorneys for a consultation.
