Divorce , I want to keep my home

My husband and I purchased a home and he has never made a payment he has been living with another woman and now wants a divorce but I am the only one on title he signed a quit claim deed years ago when I refinanced. Can he now come back and claim 1/2 the house as his asset?

The answer depends on the answer to many more questions. Such as when he signed the quitclaim, whent he house was purchased and whether an action for dissolution had ever beenf filed. You need to talk to an attorney and get about filing for the dissolution or legal separation to straighten out any problems and avoid future problems by delay. Good Luck, Pat McCrary
