My husband says he can kick me out of the house. i have 5 kids and he is verbally abusive and has a very bad temper. Can he kick me out of my own home and if I divorce him do i need to move out with my 5 kids?

Contact one or more battered women's shelters/agencies in your area without delay. A court order can often be obtained in such circumstances allowing the mother and children to remain in the home during divorce proceedings (and requiring that the father move out). Each case is adjudicated on its own merits, but safety and best interests of the children are very important.
