Legal Question in Family Law in California

I want to get a divorce from my husband of 2 years. The thing is that we have 2 toddlers and a baby on the way. I want to move out with my kids because of my husbands behavior he is smoking marijuana and drinking. He is never home he is out partying so i wanted to take me and my kids out of that situation. I also want to get full custody of my kids. I would like to know your opinion. I already tried to talk to him and he wont listen he thinks they are only his kids and he will have them even though he is never home.
