Legal Question in Family Law in California

Divorce Injunctions requiring parent that has already moved from state to return

If my husband files for divorce in California, will I be forced to move back to California even though I moved to Oklahoma when we separated 2 months ago? We have a son. My husband is military. I am establishing residency in Oklahoma, where I am from. But am a legal resident of California, because I resided there for longer than 6 mo and paid taxes there. I understand California has juristiction until I have resided in Oklahoma for 6 mo. If he files before then, do I have to return. I am employed here and would lose my job and means of supporting myself. I do not recieve any assistance from my husband here.

Re: Divorce Injunctions requiring

You would not have to move back to CA but you may be required to litigate the case here which would mean hiring a lawyer here to represent you and coming back to attand the trial.
