Legal Question in Family Law in California

Divorce Judgement Process

I am in the middle of a divorce that has lasted for over a year. The paper work has been filed (8/22/01) except the judgement part of it, which is due to the fact that it has been returned to me twice already for being incomplete. I am supposed to get remarried in May once the judgement has been proccessed? Will I get a court hearing before May 3?

thank you,

Ray

Re: Divorce Judgement Process

I would assume that you should be able to complete your paperwork before May 3. Maybe you should contact a professional to assist you in completing the paperwork. Better to be safe than sorry. Good Luck, Pat McCrary

It is impossible to give you a response to your question without first reviewing all of your paperwork. I think you should seek the assistance of an experienced family law lawyer.
