Divorce

I went to legal aid to get help on getting a divorce and they would not help me,I need to know what else can I do? I do not have The money for a lawyer and am raising my grandson.I can not work because I am disable,so my husband wrote out a promisery note that he continue to pay for the house etc.but now he quit,I just want to get on with my life.

Check with the court and ask about a family law clinic to assist you preparing the petition for dissolution. The attorney at the clinic can provide the information you need to proceed.
