Legal Question in Family Law in California

Divorce

I live in CA and i'm currently going through a divorce. I have signed a Notice of acknowledgment of recipt (FL-117) and returned it to my ex. However i never filled out the Schedule of assetts and debt (FL-140), however my ex-wife issued her schedule of assets and debts. This was all filed and completed on her end in dec. I have not really taken any steps to resolve anything however i recieved a request to enter default in the end of jan. I'm concerned are there actions i need to take and what is the request to enter default even mean?

Re: Divorce

The request to enter default means that a judgment will be entered. That you will have no input into the content. Further it is an indication that you should immediately retain an attorney to represent you.
