Legal Question in Family Law in California
I am going through a divorce, I live in Mexico and my husband is in the USA, went for a vacation for 2 weeks, my son broke his leg and had to stay. He had a permission to be with my kids in the USA for 2 weeks, of course when the accident happened, they couldnt go back. I did ask him to send my daughter to LA, where my mother was, so she could bring her back and she could start school and he never did.
I went there to visit in December and came back as I had to come to work. We have been agreeing since january that I was coming in mid April to live there and stablish there so we both can be with the kids, It was agreed I was going to stay with him as I dont have any money and he was going to help me with that, while I get settled.
Now he tells me he doesnt want me to come when I bought my ticket and everything ready to go and he knows this.
what can I do, Ifeel I can do something else, I want to be with my kids, I feel hopeless, he movd the family here 2 years ago from SF, there is no jobs here and its hard to make money, I make some money as a yoga teacher and we own our house so we dont pay rent, I rent the rooms and that helps me too. I havent had a job for 2 years and life for me in USA would be hard economically. I never wanted to come to Mexico, but I followed him and thougth it was good.

It appears that the issues you have are only going to be resolved by a family law court. You should return to the United States and contact the legal aid office near where your divorce case is filed so that you can be represented in the case. Your husband no longer is abiding by any oral agreements that you made and your recourse is to protect your rights to your children in court.
