divorce

If i live in Oregon but my second home which i spend half my time at is in Rancho mirage CA. could i file for divorce here and be able to move here full time with my 5 year old litlle girl

Re: divorce

You would have reside in California for 6 months and the county for 90 days before filing for a divorce. The child's home state is the state in which the child has resided for the past 6 months. Moving the child to another state without the consent and knowledge of the other parent will not change the home state. You should consult with an attorney in California.
