Legal Question in Family Law in California

I got a divorce in 1977

But los angeles record place gave me papers no record of divorce in la,

I found my divorce papers and it said he filed for divorce in san luis obisbo calif,

I had no way to get there and i was young

I need to know if we are divorced

If it is in state of calif. Even if i only live in los angeles county
