Divorce

I was married at age 18 and am now 30 the guy i married took off never to be seen or heard from again almost a year after we were married . want a divorce. how do i do that or do i even need to?

If you ever want to get married again then you do need a divorce.

You need to try to find him and after doing due diligence you may seek permission from the court to serve him by publication.

You need to get a divorce. Service of the petition and summons can be served by publication. First try to locate him through friends and family. It is also possible that he has already completed the divorce process.
