Legal Question in Family Law in California

my divorce is pending and i was awarded by the courts spousal support,, he has been paying it since sept 09, now he has had back surgery and will be disability for a few months from his company and he was also laid off and will be eligible for unemployment. his wages have been garnished, will they still be garnished thru disability and unemployment?

You need to file a new income withholding order and serve it on the unemployment agency. An income withholding order doesn't follow a person from employer to employer. You need to serve a new income withholding order every time they get a new job.
