Legal Question in Family Law in California

Is my divorce in process

My husband filed for divorce on July 2, 1999. Shortly after, I received a divorce agreement which he had written up through an attorney. Since I did not agree with what was in the papers, I filed a "response" within 30 days with the court. I asked him to revise the divorce agreement (since he had an attorney and I didn't) and now he won't proceed. He says it's not a priority. Is my divorce in process? I heard it takes 6 months to become final. Is it 6 months from the filing date or 6 months from when both parties agree? I am raising 3 kids (2 are his)and have them 100% of the time and am receiving no child support. I believe his delay is so he won't have to pay child support yet. Please help me.

Re: Is my divorce in process

The divorce will never go through unless one of you files a request for a trial date. in the meantime, you can go to court now and get temporary child and spousal support.
