Legal Question in Family Law in California

divorce and property

my husband and I have been married 9 years. We have owned a company for 4. He 90% and me 10%. He and the company are being sued. My name is not in the suit. He has deeded both houses and 2 vehicles and 2 motorcycles to me. We are considering divorce at this time and my question is if we divorce during the lawsuit can the ensuing party come after me and what's been signed over to me?

Re: divorce and property

Yes, the property would be traced to you. These would be considered fraudulent transfers, with the intent to defraud creditors.

Please contact a qualified attorney before you take any action.
