Divorce Question

I have left the marital home after my wife and her father told me to get out. The house is listed as sole and separate property in my wife's name. I was under the threat of arrest.

She filed for a divorce.

Did I do the right thing?

Leaving the house under threat of arrest was a wise move. Occupancy of the house will not determine the manner in which the house equity is divided.
