Divorce question

Ive been married for almost 2 yrs and i was in germany in the military and she didnt come down to live with me and she stayed with her mother. We havent lived together and havent really seen eachother since so my question is does she get anything out of the divorce?

The short answer is yes, in a dissolution action she would be entitled to 1/20th of your military pension should you recieve a pension. She may also be entitled to spousal support for a short period of time. You may wish to consider an annulment. There is an implied agreement that you would live with your spouse. You may wish to talk to an attorney about filing an annulment in stead of a dissolution. Good Luck, Pat McCrary
