Divorce question

We simply cannot afford the court costs to file for a divorce. It is a simple, friendly, no issues divorce.

Will the court reduce the fee based on income?

Go to the court's website and find the form called "Fee Waiver Request." Or you can buy it at the court in the clerk's office. If you earn less than a certain amount, the fee will be waived.

You may apply for a fee waiver, and look for a flat fee attorney.
