Legal Question in Family Law in California
Divorce records
I could no longer afford my attorney, therefore she removed herself from my divorce action. My question is, What do I need to do in order to get my file from her? Is she required to give it to me? Any help is appreciated

Send a letter to her requesting your file. The file should be available for you to pickup within 5 days after receipt of the letter. If this does not result in your being able to pickup your file then contact the state bar.
