Legal Question in Family Law in California

after divorce refinance??

I have been divorced since 6/2007. My ex-husband was rewarded our vehicle,debt amt is 20,000.In the divorce I am not in any way resposible for this obligation,I would like him to refinance to take my name off but he refuses. The finance company refuses to acknowledge that the judge has said that I am not resposible. With this loan on my credit I can not get a loan for the medical attention that I am in desperate need of. You can't force him refinance the vehicle. Sorry.
