Divorce or Seperation

Do I file a legal seperation or just do nothing until I feel a divorce will need to be initiated? Seperation will change my Income deeply, and with a Child I may have to get assistant. With all said, Do my husband file for Child Support or Do I?, What should done. I will have to pay all bills, and can only make min amt of money to cover. PS.. I want to at least find out first if its worth a Divorce, meanwhile time apart is Priority.

You can bet assistance from the local family court law clinic. The individual there can discuss the facts with you. If there is domestic violence you can contact the police and get you help finding a shelter until you can get the necessary restraining order etc.
