Legal Question in Family Law in California

Divorce help

I was served with a disolution today. She wants counseling but told me that the court will force us to go if I ask. In the response, I can deny irreconcilable differences but how do i get it in court so we can seek the counseling?

Also I am paying for a life insurance policy- Im not the bennificiary. She signed all the papers and has it drawn from my bank automactically ( Im the sole person on the account ) Can I stop the auto payments? We have no children.

Re: Divorce help

She can get the dissolution if she wants. You cannot just DENY the irrec. diff. and get out of it in California, which is no fault divorce.

New York is the only state I know of that is a "fault" type divorce state.

You cannot stop payment on the insurance without her agreement or a court order.
