Legal Question in Family Law in California

I have been served divorce papers with no property or debt involved I want my maiden name restore what form do I have to fill out and I dont have money for a fileling fee and do I have to respnd with anythig else since there are know kids or debt etc-

On the response which you file with the court, there is a box to check to request your maiden name restored.

As to the filing fee, depending on your income, you can fill out a form and have the fee waived if you qualify.

I suggest you call the court [phone number should be on the papers you were served with] and ask for help from the family law facilitator.
