I'm going through a divorce and was just served today. �We are living in her parents condo paying rent month to month without a formal lease. �They changed the locks today and I can't get my stuff. �Is this legal? �Her family law lawyer said it was

If there is a court order removing you from the residence, then the action they took may be appropriate. If there are no exclusion orders and ths was your primary home, you have a right to access.

No it is not legal unless there is an order that kicks you out of the residence and that order can only be granted ex-parte if there is domestic violence. Her attorney either does not know what he is talking about or is not telling the truth. I would suggest that you will need an attorney.
