Legal Question in Family Law in California

Divorce spousal moving out of the country with child laws

My son married a woman who is still legally a citizen of Mexico, but currently has permantent residence in the US due to the marriage. The wife wants to get a divorce and is threatening to take the child with her and move back to Mexico. What laws exist, if any, to prevent my son from losing his child? Thanks.
