Legal Question in Family Law in California
Divorce spousal moving out of the country with child laws
My son married a woman who is still legally a citizen of Mexico, but currently has permantent residence in the US due to the marriage. The wife wants to get a divorce and is threatening to take the child with her and move back to Mexico. What laws exist, if any, to prevent my son from losing his child? Thanks.

In California there is an automatic restraining order prohibiting the removal of a child from the state without written permission when a person is served with divorce papers.
