Legal Question in Family Law in California

Divorce

Ive been suffering through a divorce for almost 4 years. What can I do to put an end to this madness? There are no children involved, no assets, no 401ks, no property. I live in California, is this why they wont finalize my divorce? Where can I turn for help that wont cost me thousands of dollars?

Thank you.

Re: Divorce

Your local court should have a family law facilitator who can look at what is happening on your case in order to finish it. There is no charge to see the facilitator. It is first come first serve. There are non profit agencies that help the indigent. The California Courts have a self help center that can answer questions and direct you to your local facilitator. courtinfo.ca.gov
