Divorce from a Swiss wife

What is my divorce going to be if I married a Swiss women having a child with her in California ?Than she left with the child in a year, going back to Switzerland. I have never lived with them in Switzerland and we don't have anything mutual together besides our 4 years old doughter. I would like to know what is my divorce process is going to be ?

You can file for a divorce in California. The court in California can dissolve the marriage but probably cannot award custody as the child lives in Switzerland, and apparently has for a year. Find an attorney with experience in international custody cases.
