You need to file for dissolution, fancy word for divorce, and seek joint legal and physical custody, depending on the ages, you will probably end up as primary custodial parent for the 2 boys, while she will be primary custodial for 2 girls, but generally the courts don't want to split up the kids. This is a complicated case due to 4 kids, but I have 4 kids as well. What county are you in? Is your wife in a different county? Your are working? Is she working? Does she want to move?
By your zip code, looks like you live in Pomona. For your divorce you would go to the Los Angeles Superior Court in Pomona. This is a case though in which you would most likely need a attorney. You can file for the divorce where you are so long as you have lived in the county for the last 3 months and the star for the last 6 months. Big questions regarding custody will hinge on how long the two of you have been separated and how long the kids have been where they are.
