Legal Question in Family Law in California

How to divorce my wife who's not a resident of the US

We were married in Las Vegas in 1995, my wife is a non-US resident from Costa Rica. She didn't want to come to the US and it has been 10 years now. I lost touch with her some years ago. Question: Should I seek divorce in Neveda? (I live in California) 2/ Since she's not a US resident/citizen where do I stand in seeking a divorce? (CA vs NV)

3/ Does CA's community property affect me since we were married in Neveda?

Thank you much for your help

California community property law applies to all married couples that reside in Calfornia. That also applies in cases such as your where one spouse resides in California. Since she has disappeared you may have to get an order to serve her by publication.
