Legal Question in Family Law in California

I just want to know if it will be any problem to ask my husband for--name removed--Divorce. I put--name removed--restraining order last year due to domestic violence. I has to come back with him for financial reasons and because he promise me that he was going to change, he never change and he keeps insulting me and calling me names. I just want to know if it will be--name removed--ny problem with the divorce because i am with him right now.
