Legal Question in Family Law in California

getting a divorce after 27 years. Put him through college. Am I allotted anything for supporting him for 5 years?

Not likely. The law will consider the benefit of being married to and sharing the income of a college graduate rather than without a degree to have been compensation enough. Unless you put your premarital separate property assets into the tuition or something like that, sharing his income for 27 years is what you get.
