Alimony is always proper in any divorce proceedings, whether or not it is granted is a additional question. You should not touch any of the deeds or transfer any property prior to the divorce being finalized. A consultation with a lawyer could be helpful for you to understand the legal issues involved.

As always please consult an attorney prior to taking any legal action. Good luck.
