divorce/community property
my x told me that a law went into effect jan. 1 1984 which states that any community property owned takes inot accvount pre-marrage equity. Any married couples sharing a title before that splits the equity 50/50. I purchased the home 1973, got married in 1980. Does she get 1/2 equity from 1973?
