Legal Question in Family Law in California

Getting divorced. Child Custody portion filed already. How do I file a Property division and how do I get a final divorce date?

If you are doing your own divorce in CA, you should have picked up How to Do Your Own Divorce in California, published by Nolo Press, a long time ago. I got divorced long before I started doing Family Law and I used the earlier edition of that book, rather than the law library. Even for an attorney it was much clearer and easier for a simple divorce.
