Legal Question in Family Law in California
I am divorced and my daughter who is 15 lives with me. In our original divorce decree it states both of us are responsible for 50% of medical and dental bills aquired. I have tried sending my ex the bills via certified mail but she doees not answer the door for the mailman, nor will she pick up any mail sent from me from the post office. What legal action can I take to make her pay her half?

You will need to file a motion and ask the court to set the amount of the money that she owes you. You can also get attorneys fees for bringing the motion, which of course can be collected if she has payroll or assets from which to collect the judgment.
