Divorced filed, Both parties moved before court date

Divorce papers filed in Sac county. But both parties moved out of Sac county before mediation and court date. I am the respondee and I moved to Kings county. He moved to Florida. Can I now (been 5 months in kings county) move the papers to this county to finish? Or how do I finish the divorce? More questions on the way...

Since neither of you live in Sacramento County, you can file a motion for change of venue. However, whether you want to do that depends upon the circumstanes. If yours was a short marriage with not children then you may wish complete the divorce in Sacramento County. Consult an attorney to determine which option to take.
