Legal Question in Family Law in California

i am divorced about 10 years and i have a child that born in new york, but when she was 1 me and her moved to ca where we reside now. in divorce judjemnt say that i retain custody of the child and ex has reasonable visitation rights. she flies to ny 2 a year to visit him and he never comes here. now he has new family and so do i. my daughter lives with me 100 %. ew both have families with kids from both sides. now it came time that i want to move with my family to out of country and he is not giving me the permission what can i do?

It sounds like your order is from a New York court. If so, you have to ask this question under the New York questions category. If your divorce and the custody order was issued in California, you have to go to court in the same court that issued the original order and ask for a modification to allow you to move out of the country. Be prepared for an uphill battle.
