Legal Question in Family Law in California

I have been divorced for 5 years with two kids, my ex paid 1/2 time for our rent of a $3000 and 1/2 time said he has no money! (That was his alimony and child support! At this moment he has no job and no money, but selling his deceased mom's house, and will receive about $150000, do I or my kids have a right to his share of money legally! Please help? (Considering that I have my kids 100% of time and provide everything for them) he has not paid for January rent and I will be kicked out pretty soon out of my apartment!)

You should contact an attorney and obtain a determination of the arrears and then request a court order to place a portion of the money collected into a trust account to insure payment of child support and spousal support. He will no doubt request a reduction in the spousal and child support amounts, as he is unemployed and has very little income. Move quickly to obtain these orders before he sells the house and hides the money.
