Legal Question in Family Law in California

I have been divorced for 7 years and I pay child support, if I get married is the child support going to increase according to both of our incomes?? Or is it still just based on mine?

Still based on yours. New spouses do not have to contribute to support of ex spouses nor existing children. Your support may, however, adjust a bit one way or the other, because a new spouse can affect tax rates, medical ins. deductions, etc., that come out of your income before the support amount is calculated. So if you have a choice of shifting any deductions to your paycheck when you get married, it usually pays to do so.
