Divorce/new marriage

My husband said he was divorced from his first wife and we got married. Come to find out after 8 years of marriage he never really filed for the divorce. They were legally married in Mexico. What can I do?

To be legally married your husband will have to file a petition for dissolution of his marriage and then proceed to have his marriage to his first wife dissolved. After the first marriage is dissolved you can then remarry.
