Legal Question in Family Law in California

Hello I am divorcing and I have been filing marrried but seperate for the last 11 years out of the 12 year marriage. My tax accountant told me I will not be responisble for his tax issues.I just foud out he has not paid taxes for the last couple of years. Do i need to file an innocent spousal form? will that protect me in CA or am I resposible. we had no bank accounts together or his cash business were not in my name
