Legal Question in Family Law in California

how do I go about divorcing my husband. We haven't been together since 2001. I believe he went back to Mexico(thats where he's from). How can I serve him if i don't know where he is?

You may have to serve the petition by publication. A time consuming process that is not easily accepted by the court. You should talk to an attorney about this issue as soon as possible.
