domestic viloence restraing order

can the case be dismissed because I was not served a copy of the order. I was only verbally told by a sheriff and shown the complaint.

Based on what you say you have not been served, however, I would suggest that you look up the case and see if there is a proof of service on file. You may have been served. I don't see why you would be shown a copy of the complaint without one having been given you. Good Luck, Pat McCrary
