One. This is not a game where you play to see how long you can play the system before you get nailed. This is your baby's safety and even life at stake. Men who seriously harm or kill children almost invariably started out abusing the mom. CPS knows this and they WILL take your children if you keep putting them around an abuser. This is NOT about you. It is about your child. If you can't stay away from a man who is a danger to the child, CPS will. You want to go back to a man who may hurt or kill you, feel free, but CPS does not have to sit back and let you take your child into danger with you.
